I was lucky enough to be invited to Ocean City MD. for their 10th annual "Artist paint the OC" plein air event.
Having participated in these plein air events for over 6 yrs I am searching with in myself and always going back and forth as to the legitimacy of these Plein air events.....Although my views are personal they are a chance to communicate with the public and possibly pick up new clients, meet new artist friends along the way, and to have a very productive couple of days. Its a great way to base ones own skill level and be inspired by others's great work. It has always forces me to bring my "A" game and the quick draw's always force you to not question your brush application and go with your gut. Anywho, here are my fab five from the 2 day event and a 6th from my quick draw. Also a few more from the road....
