One of the best days. Started the day off painting, which i'm not to happy about it. I feel like i should have stopped about halfway through the painting and i failed in the process. It's much to overworked!
But to make the day better i did find a beautiful brook trout on the end of my line! aaah, what a way to end the day

South fork Brocolli

A trip down the southfork yesterday. It was beautiful weather when left town and about halfway down the river the weather turned cloudy. Seems to be some challenging aspects during the painting process a lot more than usual.

Working on a larger studio piece i did this sketch to formulate an idea about a larger piece. My challenge on the larger piece is to stay loose and bold while keeping reserve held off till the last brush-stroke.
